Despite being arrested less than two weeks after the Baltimore Ravens signed him, Rolando McClain appears to have a future with the Super Bowl Champions for now. Assistant General Manager Eric DeCosta told The Balitmore Sun that McClain "warrants a second chance."

Even with these latest comments, the three-year NFL linebacker can't feel particular comfortable with his roster spot. He  is scheduled to appear in court on July 9 for his most recent charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. On Monday, McClain pleaded guilty to a window tint violation stemming from a January arrest in which he signed the ticket with an expletive.

Over the past 16 months, McClain has totaled three arrests, which is only one fewer than the total number of sacks during that same time period. Yet, General Manager Ozzie Newsome told The Balitmore Sun that he's still among those fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster:

Right now, we've got 90 football players and he's one of the 90, and we're going to make determinations [on] who we think is going to be in our top 53,” Newsome said. “We'll start making decisions and there are going to be some tough decisions, but right now, Rolando's still a part of our football team.
