Alabama baseball delivered an up and coming season in 2013, finishing the year with a 35-28 record en route to Mitch Gaspard's 3rd regional appearance in 4 seasons. Now the question has turned to when the baseball team will be delivered the upgrades or a new stadium it desperately needs.

Sewell Thomas has long been considered considered on of the disappointing stadiums in the Southeastern Conference, however, Thursday night Alabama Athletic Director Bill Battle said help may be on the way, but maybe not in a new site.

"There is another site on the table, but I think the site we have is a really good one. While the decision has not been made finally, my feeling is we are leaning we are staying in the same site" Battle noted.

Although nothing has been finalized, Battle says the feeling is when all is said and done

"There have been some great plans-this thing has been thought through tremendously and I am convinced that if it goes in the direction I think its going, I think everyone will be pleased."
